Baby Moon - Maui, Hawaii - July 12-19th, 2014

With the upcoming arrival of our first child, we knew we wanted to take one last trip just the two of us, to celebrate the big life changes to come. This has come to be known as a "Baby Moon". We had been talking about a trip to Hawaii for a while, and since there was a direct flight option from Denver, we decided to go for it! It helped our planning process that Lara and Matt had just been to Maui for their honeymoon. On their recommendation we stayed on the same bay they did, Napili Bay! It was beautiful, family friendly and very relaxing with plenty of snorkeling right off the beach. We will definitely be going back and taking baby Cooper!

The amazing view from our condo's back porch.

Every morning we enjoyed our breakfast on the back porch.

We spent lots of time just relaxing on the beach in our backyard.

Our condo was well stocked with boogie boards, snorkel gear and beach chairs. Naturally Tommy had to try out the boogie board!

The bay was having extremely high surf as the result of a storm blowing in from Fiji! This made for some intense boogie boarding.

Beach baby belly!

Ono Tacos had the best food!
